To jemyl...

Happy Birthday!!

And lots more!

What does it say that your birthday is in the middle of hurricane season? Does that mean you are a whirwind by nature? ;-)

Happy Birthday! :) I love you forever btw. I've been kicked out of nonfluffypagans, and denied posting access to my posts. Isn't that grand? LOL You very aptly defended my point of view, and I greatly appreciate that. From day one it's seemed like those same people have been out to get me. I might just be paranoid though. I'm not too sure why they all hate me. And fyi, I'm a guy, and ###. My mother is very anti-###(if the three letter word right there doesn't show up, it's g_a_y. I think my mom blocked the use of that word, though I'm not too sure). It's unfortunate that a lot of those people are pagan versions of my mom(ie, they want to control their children, and don't support a child becoming their own person). I'm ranting in your journal...I'm really sorry. I'll shut up now. I'm friending you if that's okay, because you were so supportive. And dont' worry. My mom won't 'find what I typed on here and file a police report against you and hunt you down through your IP address.' Dumbasses...XD

OK by me. I've interacted with a lot of people over the years, and I've heard a lot of situations like yours, from people who are in them and from people who survived them. (I've also known people who didn't.) It never ceases to amaze me that people expect teenagers not to have their own opinions and beliefs just because they're teenagers, and not 18.

BTW, yes, she censored that word too. She must be really insecure in her own beliefs and the strength of her religion if she feels she has to censor words of differing views. But some people are like that. It's sad, IMO.

Oh, I've added you back.

Yes, I can now see your friend's only comments. :) Should I be afraid? LOL My mom didn't censor magic because she thinks that's not how I really spell it. She also blocked g_oddess, and all cuss words. Oh, and bi-sexual as one word, though not heterosexual or homosexual. Which is odd.

There is an easy way to defeat any blocking filter. It is to just add an asterisk somewhere in the word and to do it in a different place sometimes. Having to put any and all combinations with asterisks or $ in them will drive a censor totally nuts.

I did not always agree with my daughter's use of magic, with some of her choice of friends, and I have no idea of her sexual preference! It just doesn't matter. Her friends were always welcome in my home because they were her friends. I don't have to agree with them. I do happen to love her and have learned, since she is now a full grown woman, to trust her choices and her judgment. After all, I raised her to be an independent thinker so I cannot very well bitch when she thinks independently now, can I? Good luck with your mom. Keep the lines of communication opena and always remember that she is doing the best she knows how as a mother. She will, if she is smart enough to have raised you, likely come around to accept you when you reach the ripe old age of thirty or forty. Isn't that right Ravan?

It means that I have always been one to create havoc! Thank you for the good wishes. I just got some time to really go into LJ and now son Jim is here to redo our ramp. Later Kiddo. Love you to bits!
